So one of the things I have started doing is PIF'ing.
PAYING IT FORWARD
I love it! I have felt so remarkably blessed by all the success my new little shop has had in such a short amount of time that I wanted to pay it forward. Starting an Etsy shop (or any shop) can be hard and intimidating and expensive. I have actually owned 3 other shops on Etsy that were TOTAL flops.
But I learned a few things and while I am no expert I would like to share what I do know and hopefully learn some more in the process.
Hardest part of being a new shop:
0 Sales. Equals 0 Feedback...which equals...0 Sales. haha.
Getting someone to take a chance on you can be a game changer.
You know that if you could just get them to hold your product in their hand that they will love it. You know that you are going to give them the best costumer service they have ever had and some honest to goodness retail therapy :).
IF ONLY you could get them to take that chance.
So that is what I want to do. And what I did. I TOOK A CHANCE on a new shop.
And you know what?
I LOVE IT!
Their name?
run by the fabulous Laura.
What do they make?
Exactly what the name says...scarves and crafts.
I purchased one of the 'crafts'
A crocheted necklace...and it is BEAUTIFUL!
The technique is perfect and the quality of the pearls are high class. I love the combination of the colors and the cute pearl accents near the clasps.
It even came in a nice box wrapped in pretty tissue.
Not only did Laura accomplish all of the above but shipping was phenomenal. Took 2 business days to get here!
How much did it cost?
$6.00!!!!!
Yes, that's what I said.
So take a look below and judge for yourself. I know you won't be disappointed.
